Free Christmas Gift Tags Printable
Huge thanks to Offray Ribbon for sponsoring this post, and thereby allowing me the time to create it for you! It’s a match made in heaven since I LOVE making cute digital downloads and am a secret ribbon hoarder!
Two years ago I made little packages of gift tags with ribbon to give to neighbors as a little neighbor gift, and it was one of my favorites. Christmas gift tags are an easy gift to give since they don’t go bad, are small to store, useful, and cute!

How to Make Gift Tags
Download the Free Christmas Gift Tag Printable page at the end of this post.
Print the page at 100%. The tags are already sized perfectly to print onto an 8.5×11 sheet and cut with a 2 inch punch or a die cut machine. I find it easier to trim the sheet as I go so I can punch the circles more accurately.
Use a standard sized hold punch to create a hole for the 1/8 inch Offray ribbon.
Trim Offray 1/8 inch ribbon to 9 inches.
Fold in half; insert folded end through hole punched hole.
Once the folded end is out pass the ribbon tails through the folded loop and gently tighten.
Trim some 1/2 inch wide white satin Offray ribbon long enough to reach around the box, trim, and tie a bow.
Slip one end of the red 1/8 inch ribbon behind the bow and tie into a knot.
I repeated this same process for my pink box.
I always love the way 1/2 inch double sided ribbon lays on a gift. I prefer the drapey look to the formal wired look any day.
On larger Christmas gifts I really love to have long drapey bows and loops, but on these smaller boxes having the tails almost the same length as the loops was the perfect combo.
Another one of my bow “secrets” is to pull and adjust the bow several times and fluff out the loops as you go.
Trim Bow Ends to a Perfect V
Perfectly cut ribbon ends add so much to holiday bows! I’m sharing my easy and fast method here today.
To trim bow ends perfectly into a v, fold the ribbon in half and cut at a 45 degree angle.
By pulling on all 4 ends evenly you can make your bow nice and tight and shape it at the same time.
I always tighten these bows with one tail up and one tail down.
